Privacy policy

How Colorbook handles the data required to run the website and application.

Marketing website

The marketing website is static. No analytics tool or advertising tracker is enabled in this version.

Guest studio

A coloring page created without an account stays in the tab’s memory. It is not saved in the browser or sent to PocketBase.

Future cloud features

Saving, importing and generation will require OTP authentication. This page will be completed before those features go live.

Public catalogs and email downloads

A signed-in user can publish a public catalog of books at colorbook.fr/catalog/their-name. To receive a listed PDF, a visitor enters their email address and explicitly confirms their consent. Colorbook is the data controller; the email is shared with the catalog’s creator, the recipient of these contacts, so they can send that PDF and — only if accepted through a separate checkbox — news about upcoming releases. The legal basis is consent. Stored data is limited to the email, the consent, the relevant book and the date; no IP address is recorded. You may request access, rectification or erasure of this data by contacting the publisher listed in the legal notice. The creator can delete a contact, and deleting a book or catalog erases the associated contacts.

Sign-in logging

For security and administration, every authenticated sign-in is recorded with the account id, date, IP address and browser. The legal basis is legitimate interest (security). These logs are visible to administrators only and are automatically deleted after 180 days. An “online” presence indicator is also kept for administration. You may request access to or erasure of this data from the publisher listed in the legal notice.
